THE TORCH DOHA wins four distinctions at the International Hotel Awards 2017

The hotel proved itself a winner once more during this year’s International Hotel Awards. One of the finest 5 star addresses in Doha, won Best Large Hotel and Best City Hotel in Qatar, receiving as well the International 5 star Standard for the second consecutive year. During a glorious ceremony in Dubai, it was awarded an additional distinction, the prestigious Best City Hotel Arabia.

The International Hotel Awards are the international 5-star standard of hotel ratings. It is the only organization to provide 5-star accolades at an international level. The International Hotel Awards global competition determines the finest hotels and hospitality companies in the world. They were developed to identify, highlight and reward excellence throughout the global hospitality industry throughout a wide range of areas. Participants enter at their relevant national level and are judged by a highly experienced team of professionals who cover the whole range of hospitality disciplines. There are 17 categories to choose from. 5-star awards for each category are awarded on a national level before going on to compete on a regional level. The regional winners are automatically entered into the overall International Awards, which ultimately determine the world’s finest resorts and hotels.
